City Council and committee agendas

The nine-member council makes law for the whole island. 115 agendas are posted for 2026; each link opens the council's own document.

District numbers, boundaries and member names from the city's Council_Districts GIS layer (last edited Jan. 28, 2025), read Sept. 19, 2026; each member's page is the council's own. The city publishes the same nine districts in a second service, City_Council_2023 (“Honolulu City Council Districts 2023,” last edited Jan. 7, 2025). Compared area by area on Sept. 19, 2026, the two agree to within 0.2% of each district; the Ledger uses the AdministrativePolitical layer, which the board-area registry is already built from. Two older services (CityCouncilDistrictBoundaries, 2022; CouncilDistrictwPhotoLink, 2021) are not used. The same member is printed three ways by three city sources: the GIS layer says “Val Aquino Okimoto,” the council's committees page “Val Okimoto,” the Sept. 24, 2026 committee agenda “Val A. Okimoto.” Each page prints the form its own source used. Chair and Vice Chair are as the Legislative Reference Bureau's directory of the City and County of Honolulu printed them (updated June 2026); Floor Leader is not in that directory and is not verified from a city source.
