LAND USE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS. Proposing an amendment to Chapter 21, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu 2021 (The Land Use Ordinance), relating to development standards. REVISION TO THE PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE MAP (ʻEWA DEVELOPMENT PLAN AREA). Adopting a revision to the Public Infrastructure Map for the ʻEwa Development Plan Area to revise the existing PIM symbol 036 from solid waste facility (SW) to modified solid waste facility (SW/M) for the acquisition of land to support and expand the ENV’s current solid waste facility. Resolution 26-95 amended to CD1 (OCS2026-0259/4/27/2026 2:17 PM) and reported out for adoption.

RELATING TO FLOOD HAZARD AREAS. Amending the Flood Hazard Area Ordinance, Chapter 21A, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu 2021, to adopt language and construction standards consistent with the requirements of the Federal Emergency Management Agency to maintain participation in the National Flood Insurance Program and the Community Rating System, and for housekeeping purposes. There was no public testimony. Bill 34 (2026) amended to CD1 (OCS2026-0270/5/5/2026 3:18 PM) and reported out for passage on second reading and scheduling of a public hearing.
