Hours and tours
The ranch is open daily 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day. (Kualoa Ranch, Frequently Asked Questions, checked Oct 2026)
All tours are guided by ranch staff. They run from 90 minutes to 3 hours, including a briefing. (Kualoa Ranch, Frequently Asked Questions, checked Oct 2026)
The ranch lists UTV, zipline, e-bike, horseback, ocean voyage, movie-site and jungle expedition tours, among others, and recommends booking ahead because tours can sell out. (Kualoa Ranch, home page and FAQ, checked Oct 2026)
Rules
Waivers are required for e-bike, horseback, multi-passenger UTV and zipline tours, and helmets are required on them. Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required for e-bike, horseback and zipline tours. (Kualoa Ranch, Frequently Asked Questions, checked Oct 2026)
Tours generally go out rain or shine unless there is high wind or lightning. No pets, comfort animals or emotional support animals are allowed, and drones are prohibited. (Kualoa Ranch, Frequently Asked Questions, checked Oct 2026)
Booking direct vs. through a reseller
For bookings made directly with the ranch, a full refund requires a call at least 48 hours before the tour. Bookings made through another agency or site follow that seller's refund rules, and refund requests go to that seller. (Kualoa Ranch, Frequently Asked Questions, checked Oct 2026)
The Visitor Guide is separate from the Ledger's news coverage. Every fact on these pages was checked against the official source named beside it in October 2026; the source's page governs if it has changed since. Anything we could not verify was left out. Found something wrong? Tell us; corrections go up the same day.
