The Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) is proposing an electrical improvement project to support the development of housing at the planned Liliha Civic Center, Mayor Wright Homes, and Kamehameha School Bishop Estate - Kapālama Kai Phase I. The Proposed Project will include a series of electrical enhancements including upgrades to the existing 12- kV electrical systems by undergrounding new 25-kV distribution systems to account for future demand. These upgrades aim to ensure robust and reliable electrical service to support the development of these key housing projects.
