1. A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 19, MAUI COUNTY CODE, ESTABLISHING A REQUIRED NOTICE FOR PROPOSED AGRICULTURAL SUBDIVISIONS

Ms. Jacky Takakura, Planning Director, referring to the Maui, Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi Planning Commissions, a proposed bill amending Title 19, Maui County Code, establishing a new notice requirement for proposed agricultural subdivisions. More specifically, the proposed bill as initiated by County Council through Resolution No. 26-68, CD1 would require a subdivider of agricultural land to provide notification of the subdivider’s intent to subdivide a lot to lessees of the lot and to nearby residents.
